Procedure:

  1. Inspect the removed battery pack for swelling, deformation, corrosion or damaged cables.
  2. Inspect the motor cable connector and battery fixing plates for damage or corrosion.
  3. Inspect the housing channels the battery slides into for debris or damage.

CAUTION

🗑 Do not reuse a swollen, deformed or damaged Battery pack (706020002). See Safety instructions — “Handling a damaged or swollen battery” — for isolation, storage and disposal.

Define the acceptance criteria for battery pack condition (e.g. voltage/capacity check, swelling tolerance) before deciding whether a removed battery can be reinstalled.
