DT-ASM-007 STEP 7 - Inspect rotor

Tools:

• Rotor radial tolerance gauge

Installing parts:

• Rotor (100020002)

Procedure:

1. Inspect the rotor sealing surface for damage.
2. Inspect the magnets for visible imperfections.
3. Measure the tolerance deviation: ø15, -0,00 / +0,06.
4. The balancing ring is already fitted by the supplier — dispense a small amount of adhesive into the balancing ring hole(s) to additionally secure it.

WARNING

The rotor contains strong magnets. Keep fingers clear of pinch points and keep magnetic-sensitive items away from the rotor.
