Disassembly

TB-DIS-002 DISASSEMBLY STEP 2 - Remove mounting screw

Tools:

Ratchet with Torx bit

Removing parts:

Procedure:

Unscrew the small retaining screw and washer holding the thrust pad on the tip of the mounting screw.

Remove the thrust pad from the mounting screw.

Withdraw the mounting screw from the transom bracket clamp.

Reassembly

TB-ASM-002 ASSEMBLY STEP 2 - Install mounting screw

Tools:

Ratchet with Torx bit

Consumables:

Permabond A130 (010010005)

Installing parts:

Mounting screw

Thrust pad

Retaining screw and washer

Procedure:

Insert the mounting screw into the transom bracket clamp.

Apply Permabond A130 to the retaining screw threads.

Fit the thrust pad onto the tip of the mounting screw and install the retaining screw and washer.

Tighten the retaining screw with the Torx bit ratchet.
