INT-ASM-002 STEP 2 - Glue magnets into interface

Tools:

• Magnetic polarity tester

Consumables:

• ADHESIVE Permabond 105 (010010003)

Installing parts:

• Magnet 12x2 N52 NiCuNi axial (065010001)

Procedure:

1. Check the polarity of each magnet with the polarity tester before gluing.
2. Apply a small amount of adhesive into the magnet recesses.
3. Glue the two magnets into the recesses with the polarity oriented as marked (S / N), matching the corresponding magnets in the motor housing.
4. Cover the glued magnets with tape to protect them from adhesive squeeze-out while curing.

WARNING

Be careful of magnet orientation. Incorrect polarity will prevent the interface from correctly attaching to the motor housing.
